Are you open?
Yes. We are open from 10 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week, with the last elevator taking guests up 30 minutes before closing. For any early or special closures, click here.
Most guests spend 30 to 45 minutes on deck, but you are welcome to stay longer.
Your ticket provides one-time access to the observation deck.
Do I need to pre-book?
We recommend you purchase your ticket in advance to ensure the Lookout is part of your Vancouver experience.
Tickets can be purchased on our website. They are valid for one-time access at any time during regular business hours on the day selected. The last elevator to the observation deck leaves 30 minutes before closing.
Can I climb the stairs to get to the observation deck?
The deck is only accessible via elevator.
How long is a visit and what’s included?
There is no time limit. Most guests spend 30-45 minutes on the deck.
We offer a complimentary self-guided audio tour for you to enjoy on your own mobile device and headset.
It is available in ten languages; English, Français, Deutsch, Español, Português, Italiano, 普通话, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, 日本語, and 한국어.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
Wheelchair accessible washrooms with baby changing stations are available on deck.

Is the observation deck accessible?
Yes. Enter from Hastings Street and take the elevator down to the Upper Mall Level. Our washrooms on the observation deck are also accessible.

Is there food available for purchase on deck?
No, visitors are welcome to bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages. Tables and chairs are available for guest use on the viewing deck.
Can I bring my pet?
Only accredited service dogs and emotional support animals with proof of certification are allowed at the Vancouver Lookout.
Please present documentation to a Guest Experience Representative upon arrival.
Service dogs or emotional support animals must be contained (in a pet carrier bag/backpack) at all times while on the Observation Deck and in Harbour Centre Mall.
